Best Ionia Deck. While we’ve already covered the Best Decks in Legends of Runeterra, we wanted to break it down into your favorite Regions. In this guide, we walk you through our favorite – and the best Ionia Deck in the current meta.
Please note that meta builds are likely to change, and we’ll regularly update this list based on that. While this deck is amazing, and will see you climb far in Ranked play, it can still be beaten by a skilled player.
Yet another aggro deck I’m already seeing constantly. Quick, deadly, and melts most decks at lightning speed. A variant on a traditional Noxus deck, with some Elusives thrown in for good measure. Not particularly difficult to play, simply pursue early low cost mana units to hit face. Pair Demolitionist with Disciple for maximum Nexus damage, while Conspirator and Bladescout are exactly for keeping each other rolling. Bring Solitary Monk into play as soon as possible, while keeping her alive through Transfusion/Will of Ionia.
A deck that has been doing the rounds for a long time, and has rarely been from the top spot. Kinkou Elusives as you might expect, makes heavy use of Elusive units. It’s a fast deck, isn’t particularly challenging to play, and works well against just about any opposition. Strong early push can put most opponents on the back foot instantly. It’s the go-to on our LoR Best Ionia Deck list.
Not surprising to see a combination like this rising to the top of the meta. Karma, and her ability to multiply spells, and Ezreal’s ability to wallop the board with his own, is a match made in heaven. Needless to say, it’s super spell heavy, and requires a little bit of practice to get massive value from. Definitely one to gravitate to in our Best Ionia Deck list, if Spells are your thing.
A fairly new deck that we’re already seeing lots of. It still returns to Piltover & Zaun for support, but utilises plenty of Spells to consistently disrupt opponents. Use of Barriers and bags of recall makes it frustrating to deal with, while Shadow Assassin as an Elusive unit gives draw power. It’s a quick deck that levels Vi up fast, and definitely one to watch in our best Ionia decks list.
Probably the only viable Lux deck, it’s all about control and surviving long enough to maximize the use of Lux and Karma for board clear and wipes. Needless to say, it’s all about the use of Spells and replicating them as much as possible. A top-tier choice, and one of the best Ionia decks.
My go-to deck at the moment, and one that’s a lot of fun, flexible, and super annoying. Its been revised with the addition of some new Noxus and Ionia cards, which makes it much stronger at early clear. It’s hard to play well with, but does exceptionally well once you’ve cracked its rhythm. A sleeper hit in our LoR Best Ionia Deck list.
